Stonebwoy Headlines First-Ever CAF AFCON 2025 Diaspora Tour in London
Ghanaian Afrobeats and dancehall star Stonebwoy headlined the maiden CAF AFCON 2025 Diaspora Tour, which kicked off in London on Friday, November 28.
The event marked the beginning of a global campaign by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to engage African communities around the world ahead of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025.

The tour is designed to honor the connection between Africa and its diaspora through music, culture, and football.
London hosted the opening night at Below the Lights in Piccadilly Circus. The celebration will subsequently move to Paris on December 4 at YOYO inside the Palais de Tokyo.
A key highlight of the tour was the display of the official AFCON trophy, offering fans across Europe the chance to connect with one of the continent’s most powerful sporting symbols.
CAF says the trophy’s presence serves as a reminder of shared identity, unity, and the legacy of African football. The tour also spotlighted legendary African players who made their mark in European leagues, reinforcing the event’s theme of heritage and pride.
Stonebwoy’s appearance added star power to the launch, bringing one of Africa’s most recognizable musical voices to a stage designed to unite football lovers, music fans, and diaspora communities ahead of AFCON 2025.
In a statement, CAF described the Diaspora Tour as “a celebration of African heritage, legacy, and unity”—a message the organization hopes will resonate far beyond the tournament.
